What is Habituation?

Have you ever noticed that you ignore an odor after smelling it for a couple of days? This is an example of habituation. Habituation is when after being subjected to the same experience, we get used to it. Before it was just an example of our body’s reaction to it, our emotions get used to experiences as well. If you fought 100 times, do you think you would be as nervous as the first time you fought? You’ve done it so much that you emotionally adapt.
