Help yourself as if your helping a friend.

When I think about what I should do in a situation my decisions always contain a lot of emotion and limiting beliefs. If I was trying to apply to a job that has a lot of communication all of the experience, I had in communication would tell me I would do horrible at the job. When I ask myself “If my friend was in this situation what would I tell them?” My answer is to just apply for the job since you cannot run from communicating with other people your whole life. If you treat helping yourself as helping your friend, you get rid of limiting beliefs and give yourself a logical answer to your problem. 

I haven’t read this book but I heard it goes into the topic I am writing about.
