We as people who can live to an average of 70-80 plus years have a limited time on earth. What most people do is do multiple tiny meaningless tasks that hijack their time. One example is looking at one tweet, then another, and then one more. Before you know it, you have spent hours on social media. That is why creating a list of things not to do will help remind you not to keep doing one meaningless task after another. If something has no urgency or importance stick it in your not-to-do list. You can use a tiny notebook and then write “Do not” and then the action you do not want to do. Like, “Do not use Facebook for more than one hour”. Review the list every day in the morning and when you feel like you are doing something meaningless, and it is hijacking your time put it on your list.
